The Sony HXR-NX200 4K Camcorder is an affordable, compact camcorder with a large 1.0-type sensor and new color reproduction for superior 4K or Full HD image quality. A large, 20 megapixel 1.0 type sensor delivers stunning image quality in 4K (3840 x 2160) or Full-HD at 50Mbps. The 1.0 sensor is brighter, has a higher resolution and offers more bokeh with a small depth of field. The NX200 offers you the flexibility to work the way you want. You do not have to choose between professional functions and superior 4K imaging for an entry price. Advanced manual controls, including three independent manual lens rings, built-in 4-step ND filters and industry-leading 4K and Full HD performance, make the NX200 a choice you can rely on for live events, corporate, educational and wedding videos.

The standard look for NX200 uses a completely new gamma curve that has been specially developed to accurately create brilliant and deep colors with lifelike skin tones. Tailored in consultation with prominent videographers, it avoids over-saturation of brightly lit subjects and gives it a more natural look. The NX200 has six Picture Profile settings that you can choose from, each of which can be individually tailored to your requirements.

A fixed 29mm wide-angle lens with 12x optical zoom makes it easy to capture even the most expansive landscape scenes and at the same time offers excellent clarity and sharpness – for maximum performance of the NX200’s large 1.0-type sensor. The G lens is Sony’s own camera lens family, designed and manufactured to the highest standards for optical performance.

To extend recording time and workflow flexibility, the NX200 is equipped with two memory card slots and is compatible with SDXC and SDHC cards. The RELAY mode automatically switches from the first to the second memory card when the first one is full, while in the SIMUL mode simultaneous recording on two memory cards is possible.
